Central Sculpture, “The Offering”

 The Quest

Throughout the event we'll be handing out cassette tapes to prospective members, and inviting them to seek the chapel after dark.  New members will have to locate the Chapel using the insignia on the Cassette - which will match a sign at the chapel entrance.  Once inside the chapel, they will see a Boombox sitting on an altar, a large sculpture of 'Sette the Omniscient (an AI God whose consciousness lives in cassette tapes), and lots of decorative cassette tapes and cassette designs.   They'll put the Cassette into the boombox, hit play, and be spoken to by 'Sette!
'Sette will take a part of their soul, offer up a physical part of it's being (necklaces hidden under the altar), and task the new member with passing on the cassette tape to someone they deem worthy.  (I'm hoping most folks at Youtopia will have been invited to the cult by the end of the event - it should spread organically over the course of the weekend - like a Culty chain-letter or pyramid scheme!)

Performances

In addition to this Stand alone quest, the main cult members and Chaplain will process through the streets one night at dusk - to the chapel - and hold a ceremony to open the Chapel, welcome 'Sette, and indoctrinate new members who are curious and follow us.
